Windsurfing Canada (WC) holds annual Canadian Windsurfing Championships to determine the top Canadian Man, Woman, Youth male and female windsurfer in Course racing, in Slalom and Freestyle. The WC "Rainbow Outreach" program enables youth to get into a fit for life sport that will provide them with positive directions, role models and a life long road to both mental and physical health. Windsurfing Canada helps develop our future olympians in their strive for excellence in windsurfing for Canada.
Proceeds from the sale of Windsurfing Canada T-shirts and sweats will go to Youth Windsurf Racers under 18. To be eligible, Youth Windsurf Racers must submit results from races that they have participated during the 2009 season, (period ending by Oct 31, 2009,) The money that has been raised from T-shirts sales will be distributed among those that apply, ending in the same period.
Youth racers can also apply to sell T-shirts themselves, directly benefiting themselves from the sales they generate. To participate they must register for "T-shirts for Youth Racers Fundraiser" with Windsurfing Canada in advance, have a valid WC Sail number (free to youth under 18). Money collected by Oct. 31 will be split among those that register based on number of races entered and distance traveled. Registered Youth Racers that sell T-shirts themselves will be paid directly from To Be Seen Promotions.
